Dimensioning Hole Locations in Cabinet Design Software

Dimension holes - cabinet design softwareAs V3i features are completed, we are working on improving the dimensioning capabilities, began performance improvements, and completed the ability to merge assemblies of our cabinet design software.   I expect an update containing this group of improvements to be out in mid-December.

As part of the dimensioning improvements one thing that occurred to me is that we have, but may not have documented, the ability to show a hole location on a board.  Do this by entering the new shop drawing function and using the point to point tool.  Click on one corner of the board and when the little red dot appears on that corner, click on the center of the hole.  A dimensioning line will be displayed.  Grab that line with your cursor and move it to how the span you want to measure.  Holes are of course used all over your furniture or woodworking designs.

As always contact me at dave@sketchlist.com if you have any questions or comments.
