Hole Functions

Non-rounded holes

Locate and size holes in a board's surfaces or edges.  SketchList 3D treats any non round cut into the board - a slot, dado, rabbet - as a hole with three dimensions specified. (height, width and depth).  A hole may go through a board entirely or partially.

Round Holes

Locate and size holes in a board's surfaces or edges.   SketchList 3D treats any  round cut into the board as a hole with two dimensions specified. (diameter and depth).  A hole may go through a board entirely or partially.

Using this tool you can locate and size a board within a container.

Name board

SketchList 3D will create a default name of every board you create.  Good practice dictates that you provide your own names that will help you identify the boards as you work on the design and in the shop.
