Board name

1. Board name
Type in the name you want to assign to the board.  Sketch list will provide default naming with the word board and a number added to it. While it's easy to do this if you end up with hundreds of boards in your project is very difficult to know which is which. You're better off naming the board something meaningful. Left style is much more informative a board game than his board22.  Think about a naming convention for your boards.  If you generate a report that would be sorted by board name, naming all the shelves with the first word shelf then a space then a term that make sense.   For sorting purposes a board name shelf bottom, shelf middle, and shelf top will sort of these three boards in the same location in report. That's opposed to naming them bottom shelf, middle shelf and top shelf.  That group of three board names will appear in different locations in a sorted report.

Clone and space

7. Clone and space
Clone and space allows you to create any number of copies of the board.  You can space these boards that equal distances. You can also provide of the span of the space in which the boards exist and the number of boards.  SketchList 3D will calculate equal spacing between the boards given the size of the board and the distance of span across which the boards will be located. This is an excellent tool for doing tasks such as putting a specific  number of shelves in a shelf unit.
